Degree Campus, a prestigious constituent campus of Tribhuvan University Nepal that is located in Biratnagar-14, was established in 1981. The campus has solidified its position as a symbol of academic excellence thanks to its distinguished scholars and faculty from a wide range of fields. It exclusively offers a variety of master's level programs, including 13 areas in post-graduate education, 2 areas in bachelor level education and has faculties spanning the humanities, sciences, and management. This historic establishment, located in Province No. 1, has earned respect as a demanding hub for teaching and learning activities, imparting information and skills to its students.
Degree Campus started off as an expansion of the master program offered at the Mahendra Morang Adarsha Multiple Campus (MMAMC), Biratnagar, and it set out to accomplish a number of important goals. Its primary goal was to generate master's-level human resources who would contribute to Nepal's overall growth. Second, the school was committed to bridging the gap in higher education between urban and rural communities in the Eastern region, particularly Biratnagar. In order to increase access to high-quality education, the campus also worked to establish autonomous master's degree program outside of the Kathmandu valley.
